During the third quarter of 2023, the top 5 Tools apps on the Android platform in Belgium showcased diverse trends in weekly downloads and active users. Here’s a closer look at their performance according to Sensor Tower data.

QR & Barcode Scanner from Gamma Play maintained a steady presence with weekly downloads ranging from 6.7K to 8.2K, peaking at 8.2K in early August. Active users displayed a gradual increase, starting at around 88.7K in late June and reaching approximately 102.2K by the end of September.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile experienced fluctuations in weekly downloads, starting at 8.3K in late June and declining to around 5.8K by the end of September. Active users also showed a downward trend, decreasing from 23.5K in late June to about 18.2K in late September.

Google Translate saw a consistent number of weekly downloads, ranging from 4.0K to 5.1K, with a peak of 5.1K in early September. The app’s active users witnessed a slight increase from 260.9K in late June to around 299K by the end of September.

Proximus+ had a stable download rate, with weekly downloads fluctuating between 3.6K and 6.4K. Active users remained relatively steady, starting at 127.4K in late June and ending at about 127.2K in late September.

My Orange BE showed a consistent download trend, ranging from 2.7K to 3.8K. The active users slightly decreased from 49.5K in late June to around 45.3K by the end of September.
